I remember very well how I felt after I attended my first Kundalini class. I had been practicing Yoga on and off for a couple of years, mostly Hatha and Vinyasa, when I first heard someone talking about Kundalini Yoga. Without knowing much about it, I went for a trial class. And when I left the studio, I felt so deeply content, calm and at peace. I wanted to know more about it and became curious. And above all, I wanted to feel like that again. Through my regular Kundalini practice I have gained physical and mental strength, confidence, consciousness and peace of mind. And now, I look forward to passing on these effects in my classes. Besides Kundalini, I love books and have been working in the art book publishing world for many years. I am also one of the founding members and organizers of the independent art book fair VOLUMES (www.volumeszurich.ch)

Since 2013, I passionately work as a certified psychotherapist, guiding individuals, couples and circle of groups through their inner journey to gain a more balanced, conscious and fulfilled life. In 2017 a big personal shift happened and I started to explore the connection between the body and mind through yoga practices, movement, meditation and breath work.  Since then, yoga has been a helpful tool to integrate the wisdom of the body in my personal and professional life. For me yoga is a powerful way to calm down the body, to still the mind and to find inner wisdom and answers. My aim is to combine those tools and to share my broad knowledge in a very practical level on the yoga mat. I discovered yoga as a teen joining my mom’s yoga classes. Ten years
later there was a big shift in my life and I had to learn to hold space for myself. Almost simultaneously Covid hit and I started practicing Yoga at home daily. I’ve known that I wanted to do a yoga teacher training for a long time so when finally everything fell into place I was so grateful to start my journey on helping others experience the many health benefits of Yoga. Personally, Yoga continuously helps me still my mind and deepen my inner connection. It supports me in recognizing my true essence by connecting to the center of my intuition and my heart.

Yoga has become more and more important in my life over the years. My heart beats especially for Vinyasa and Yin Yoga. For me, Vinyasa is like flirting with my own body. The flowing, almost dance-like movements, which are synchronised with my breathing, give me one thing above all else besides red cheeks: feelings of happiness. For me, the gentle and calm yin yoga is a wonderful balance to the yang-orientated vinyasa. In the interplay between strength and stretching, effort and relaxation, yin and yang, I feel serenity and a strong sense of connection. Through my powerful and dynamic yoga flows, I want you to feel the same - without neglecting yin. In order to maintain the long tradition, I incorporate Indian rituals such as pranayamas, mantras and mudras into my more westernised classes.

Marina holds a Master of Arts in Performance in Music, is a certified Integrative Health Coach, EFT / TFT Master Practitioner and a consultant of private clients at Migros Bank.
The Swiss singer and sound healer writes intentional music whose frequencies are a blend of warm sounds and floating beats mixed with angelic vocal transmissions. Her music impacts listeners state of being and has been known to evoke a sphere of inner harmony and radiance. Since my studies about 13 years ago, yoga has taken a firm place in my life and has accompanied me through many ups and downs. In the beginning, I practiced Hatha and Vinyasa in particular, but now Yin has also become more important to me. It is particularly important to me to breathe consciously and perform mindful movements. Vinyasa is like a harmonious dance between breath and movement that allows me to dive deeper into myself and understand my body better. I enjoy challenging myself and exploring my physical limits and potential. Yin is a fantastic addition that also helps me to find peace and stillness.
In my classes I strive to create a positive atmosphere where participants can find balance and harmony. My aim is to accompany my students on their path to discovering themselves and becoming free inside.

While yoga has always been part of my adult life, it was while struggling with anxiety as a working mother that I realised that my contributions to a better world were hampered by the stresses and frustrations within me. I embarked on a meditation course and started my own daily practice. The deep peace and wellness I found within myself transformed me.  I completed my first meditation teacher training in 2016 and went on to specialise in Yoga Nidra and Sound Healing. Today I help people heal stress and trauma symptoms and connect back to the peace and love within.

From the very first Yoga class I attended I was hooked by this feeling I experienced after the practice. A feeling of being grounded and calm. My mind, usually busy overthinking and planning the future, was suddenly quiet. I soon started practicing Yoga regularly and it became an important part of my everyday life. In February 2020 I decided to go to India and participate in a Yoga Teacher Training. In March 2022 I got trained in Trauma Sensitive Yin Yoga in Costa Rica. From the beginning Yin Yoga has been a practice close to my heart as it allows us to slow down and fully relax in our so often very hectic everyday life.

It's been a few years now that yoga and meditation have found their way into my life, and I'm very glad about it. The gifts of yoga and meditation are visible not only during my practice, but also in my daily life, as I have more compassion for myself and others, as well as a greater feeling of connection. I fell in love with Yin Yoga at first sight. I felt that it was exactly what I needed to bring more calmness, reflection, and balance into my life. So when I decided to do a yoga teacher training, I went all in for a 200-hour Yin training. I feel blessed to have the opportunity to practice yoga and meditation, and I feel a lot of passion and desire to teach and continue learning.

Building up on the yogic principle of a-himsa (non-violence) as well as the buddhist principle of karuna (compassion), my yoga and meditation practice extends beyond the mat and includes taking care of the environment and advocating for justice and equality.

My relationship with yoga began many years ago and cannot really be described as “love at first sight”. As a former dancer, I first considered just the physical part of the practice and found it fairly
boring for a while. However, I stayed curious and kept trying different styles and teachers. Then, as for many of us, the Covid time became kind of a self-reflection and self-discovery journey for me. This is when I decided to deepen my own practice and get to know more about Yoga. My 200hours teacher training helped me understand, that although physical part can be really challenging, Yoga is not just about it. The knowledge I gained there was so beautiful, that I felt a strong desire to share it with everyone. Since then, I have been teaching refugees and people in need, but also my friends and colleagues, sharing the yoga and wellbeing practices in the corporate world. Hence, even though it wasn’t love at first sight, it was a true love. I am very happy to be on this path and to share it with

My vision is to create a safe space for people to transform through conscious connected breathing. Through my own journey with Breathwork I experienced how transformative this practice can be to connect not only to my own body and heal physical pain but also connect to my true inner nature.
