Gloria Wismer

I remember very well how I felt after I attended my first Kundalini class. I had been practicing Yoga on and off for a couple of years, mostly Hatha and Vinyasa, when I first heard someone talking about Kundalini Yoga. Without knowing much about it, I went for a trial class. And when I left the studio, I felt so deeply content, calm and at peace. I wanted to know more about it and became curious. And above all, I wanted to feel like that again. Through my regular Kundalini practice I have gained physical and mental strength, confidence, consciousness and peace of mind. And now, I look forward to passing on these effects in my classes. Besides Kundalini, I love books and have been working in the art book publishing world for many years. I am also one of the founding members and organizers of the independent art book fair VOLUMES (www.volumeszurich.ch)

Since 2013, I passionately work as a certified psychotherapist, guiding individuals, couples and circle of groups through their inner journey to gain a more balanced, conscious and fulfilled life. In 2017 a big personal shift happened and I started to explore the connection between the body and mind through yoga practices, movement, meditation and breath work. Since then, yoga has been a helpful tool to integrate the wisdom of the body in my personal and professional life. For me yoga is a powerful way to calm down the body, to still the mind and to find inner wisdom and answers. My aim is to combine those tools and to share my broad knowledge in a very practical level on the yoga mat. My class is for those who seek to find deeper connection to their body and to their inner self.

I discovered yoga as a teen joining my mom’s yoga classes. Ten years
later there was a big shift in my life and I had to learn to hold space for myself. Almost simultaneously Covid hit and I started practicing Yoga at home daily. I’ve known that I wanted to do a yoga teacher training for a long time so when finally everything fell into place I was so grateful to start my journey on helping others experience the many health benefits of Yoga. Personally, Yoga continuously helps me still my mind and deepen my inner connection. It supports me in recognizing my true essence by connecting to the center of my intuition and my heart.

10 years ago, Yoga found me in vacation-mode and it felt like love at first sight or destiny. Through the years, Yoga still gives me feelings of gratitude, satisfaction and happiness. It calms me down, when I feel agitated and stressed or it activates and motivates me, when I’m feeling lazy and sluggish. Now I feel that Yoga reconnects me with my powerful inner nature. Living a yogic lifestyle by making healthy/ayurvedic food choices, using mindfulness in a stressful social work field and establish a regular practice in the elements of yoga, purifies my mind and consciousness.

Many years ago, I stepped onto a yoga mat for the first time, driven by a desire for physical well-being. Ailments such as back pain and tension quickly eased thanks to regular practice, and I felt more comfortable in my body. But soon I realized that yoga meant much more than just physical health - it could also help me better manage my hectic daily life. By controlling my breath, I was able to face life's challenges with more composure, and my mind became calmer and more balanced.
It fills me with joy to accompany others on their own yoga journey and inspire them to discover the multi-faceted aspects of yoga.
In my yoga class, I challenge your body with flows. However, I am passionate about not only teaching the physical exercises, but also promoting awareness of breath, meditation, and mindfulness. I have always been a lover of beauty, slow living, and nature and it is one of my greatest desires to help others unleash their full potential by weaving together all the loose threads of their being. I know what it's like to not be in love with life. I’m not afraid of experiencing and witnessing the totality of humanity. My own search for life force, vitality and wholeness has led me to study, practice and explore different yoga styles and therapeutic modalities for more than 5 years. It was the abundance of Kundalini yoga that fascinated me the most and to which I have since devoted myself in depth. My undying curiosity and passion for sharing what I learn with others slowly compelled me to come out of hiding.

Jessica Grosser

My vision is to create a safe space for people to transform through conscious connected breathing. Through my own journey with Breathwork I experienced how transformative this practice can be to connect not only to my own body and heal physical pain but also connect to my true inner nature. Breathwork supported me to go deeper in my own healing journey as it helped me to unravel parts of me which I was unaware of and let go of stuck emotions and energies from my body and mind. Giuliana Carello
It's been a few years now that yoga and meditation have found their way into my life, and I'm very glad about it. The gifts of yoga and meditation are visible not only during my practice, but also in my daily life, as I have more compassion for myself and others, as well as a greater feeling of connection. I fell in love with Yin Yoga at first sight. I felt that it was exactly what I needed to bring more calmness, reflection, and balance into my life. So when I decided to do a yoga teacher training, I went all in for a 200-hour Yin training. I feel blessed to have the opportunity to practice yoga and meditation, and I feel a lot of passion and desire to teach and continue learning.
Building up on the yogic principle of a-himsa (non-violence) as well as the buddhist principle of karuna (compassion), my yoga and meditation practice extends beyond the mat and includes taking care of the environment and advocating for justice and equality.

From the very first Yoga class I attended I was hooked by this feeling I experienced after the practice. A feeling of being grounded and calm. My mind, usually busy overthinking and planning the future, was suddenly quiet. I soon started practicing Yoga regularly and it became an important part of my everyday life. In February 2020 I decided to go to India and participate in a Yoga Teacher Training. In March 2022 I got trained in Trauma Sensitive Yin Yoga in Costa Rica. From the beginning Yin Yoga has been a practice close to my heart as it allows us to slow down and fully relax in our so often very hectic everyday life.
