About the event
The use of the most non-invasive and non-drug methods possible to promote women's health during the reproductive phase has always been in the mind of midwives.
One such method is the rebozo technique, which is traditionally used by Mexican midwives during pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period.
This one-day workshop offers you an introduction to the obstetric rebozo application; from theory to practice to self-awareness. Through rebozo, women can be supported through the stages of pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and even stillbirth.
The emotions surrounding birth - in women and in us as professionals - will also be addressed. The goal of this workshop is to bring to life the wisdom of us midwives and doulas, by combining our intuition with the knowledge gained from practical experience. On this day you will receive the necessary skills to apply the rebozo in midwifery.
